For me, Gaga still takes risks in her career and continues to advance creatively.

Last time Taylor changed the font on her album cover and when she went from sad with a guitar to sad with a synthesizer to sad in a vintage dress to sad in a sparkly bodysuit.

I think ARTPOP, Joanne, ASIB and Harlequin were risky, but MAYHEM was sort of considerer a return to form

Charli. The Moment, Wuthering Heights OST & MFF were all risky choices in rapid succession & not liking her or these projects doesn't negate that she went against the grain

It's not always safe to return to form and not everyone succeeds in doing so, Gaga manged to return and make it sound fresh and not repetitive. Also, Harlequin is still relatively recent so what you're saying is she still takes risks!

Yes they finally dropped doing that cringe Kpop pop and went all raw rap and alternative and rock and they dropped one of the best albums ever

Hyunjin I feel he could be he hasn't got much freedom to do so. JYP has too much control over him but if you listen to his YouTube solo songs that are always very different and unique and he tests his vocals a lot and I love that about him. I need stray kids to drop another ate the have gotten a bit flat the last 3 albums. Do it was just a dud.

Yes. My fav is 41 now and still hasn't released her album.

She's committing to entire album rollouts, short films, and an eventual tour while pushing 68. Specifically in the context of The Celebration Tour and how it was almost cancelled, the stage was set for her to bow out gracefully. If she were truly risk averse, she would have probably taken that opportunity.

I think The Life of a Showgirl was risky in a sense, yes

I don't think that our faves take actual risks. With popstars it's always very calculated. They sometimes venture out within their own reach (women sometimes change their hair colour, wowza!), but in essence, it's still very much the style they are known for. For Lana, her last single was quite "out there", but honestly nothing too crazy.
