I've been exploring my sexuality there and was finally starting to have a good time with it, so I ended up giving him a chance, as I thought he was very attracted to me. When we met up, he gave me a bj, and after that he suddenly said he charges for sex and that it "was in his profile." (of course this was a lie). I told him I don't pay for sex, we argued, and he hit me in the chest. I gave him money just to get him to leave.

I reported it on April 8, but it's now April 25 and I still haven't heard anything back. I have his face and his full name. Any tips on what to do next? Should I keep pushing the process? Also, I'm scared about safety, could I be in danger if he finds out I reported him?

People are crazy. I've done some sketch stuff and I always think to myself how lucky I am nothing crazy happened like that. 99% of the time I prefer to meet in public before hanging with a guy even if it's just for bj or sex

Push the process. A friend of mine is a cop and told me they hardly do anything unless the victim is persistent for what they perceive as minor crimes.

Give them proof if you haven't already.

Wow, I'm so sorry. There are so many guys on there trying to scam and make a paycheck rather than make some type of connection and it's disgusting. If it's safe to do so in your country, you should definitely take it to the police. If not, don't let this dissuade you from continuing to explore. There are plenty of wonderful men out there who would never treat you that way.

I’m so sorry that happened. In addition to reporting his profile to Grindr, you should have filed a police report.

Also check your email for updates they won’t send you a notification.

grindr always gave me the creeps and it sucks that this guy essentially ruined your experience with grindr.

Delete it and never use it again. Way too many predators on there.

Screenshot all of your conversation and his pics. I usually do this beforehand in case something bad like this happens during a meetup.
