Unfortunately, this is how she sounds most of the time. At least she can say she was once one of the best singers of all time, most artists cannot relate.

Imagine setting a standard so high that no matter what you do, people will pick it apart. Love how this queen sang live when she could've easily lipped the whole performance.

Vocal nodes, lack of rest during her prime (constantly touring and performing), alcohol, and probably didn't bother to see a vocal coach when the changes started happening, because a competent one could've helped her adapt.

Singing her own songs that she wrote live after decades. Some girls could neither write or sing their own songs at their peak.

She doesn't sound good but we will always respect this legend and her immense, undeniable talent for things other than wearing clothes or looking pretty in roles with minimal dialogue in b movies.

People drag her for lipping and then they're making fun of her current voice when she does sing live despite her health. It's just mean-spirited.

Aw, leave her alone. It looked like it was scary for her to do that. At least she tried and did it anyway. And it wasn't a disaster.

Still better than 95% of the current pop girls.
