I'm letting Britney go.

Featured Replies

Yeah her last video was definitely it. Not even concerning anymore. It was closure.

She's free now, but directionless. No team. No vision board. No one's there for her, for guidance, for help. And before anyone jumps me help isn't oppression nor a sign that she's less than, and neither is this stripping her autonomy away. This is about care.

I've finally moved from denial to bargaining to acceptance. She's gonna be left alone like this forever, dancing and ordering the shortest dresses from Temu at 1:48am until she can no longer twirl. There won't be a comeback era, let alone Britneycabana or a farewell/legacy tour. Instagram is her last stage and we're already attending it. I'm not seeing her perform again. Ever.

I haven't been stanning her as hard over the past few years. I will always love her and hold a special place for her in my heart and as a legend, but I just don't revisit her discography as often anymore. As good as most of her music is, she was always one of the most manufactured pop stars ever, and that was the whole point.

why are you even expecting her to have a comeback era and Britneycabana if you truly care for her? just leave her be

This entire thread reads as if you were holding her captive in your basement and forcing her to spin and twirl against her will.

"I'm letting Britney go. She's free now".

I don't think she'll ever perform live anymore. Maybe she'll record a new album or rerecord some songs in 2040.

thank you for this press release, i was wondering if @Spicy Pisces still had britney on their stan list

Well now you know. I'm also letting you goheart

Is she that lady dancing with knives on Instagram?

Britney will be one of the first artists consenting to an AI album and it will be really good. wait and see. i think Rihanna will also be open to it.

I moved back to Hilary Duff, she has an amazing new album out

I'm thinking in the long run. She's a long way to recovery if a comeback is what she wants but my point is, I no longer see it. It's this hope I gave up on

She's free now, but directionless. No team. No vision board.

With all due respect, you JUST realized this? deadbanana2 She's posted numerous times about being done with the industry ever since the conservatorship ended. Let our girl twirl in peace!

Britney never needed conservatorship, but she needs someone around her that just wants the best for her. I unfortunately doubt there are people that see her as a person and not a money machine

We don't need a thread every time one of you decides to stop stanning someone.
