I think she's had more than enough success relative to her abilities

She has the bops, she should've been bigger than she was/is.

Roc Nation sabotaged her because they were threatened, chi 🦄

I don't think so. She doesn't have a cohesive style, always jumps in every possible collaboration.

She has the look, talent, personality. But she was managed AWFULLY since the beginning.

All Natural deserved to be a smash hit no it's true it's true

I agree with this. All Natural is her best song since Let You Love Me. The music video is top-notch.

She kinda peaked with Phoenix (which honestly was a very fun album)

The bops are absolutely there, but every single other aspect about her is so so bland and uninspired.

Sometimes I wish her discography was given to someone more interesting.

The UK tried their damnedest to ship her here to the States to smash, only for her to ride the Iggy momentum for a hit and then be shipped back.

She failed us by not providing a proper follow up to Phoenix.

Bang was the right direction jonnycat

Wasn't she brought in like a Rihanna replacement and that experiment failed?

I think her side quests kind of stalled her chances at being an MPG because she kinda felt like she was getting there with Phoenix. But I can't fault her for chasing coin.

Like imagine having Anywhere, the Bang EP and being the host of ANTM on your resume (if only for a season).

Phoenix is kind of the Teenage Dream of the Albanian pop mafia if you think about it.

I think she had a good run and lasted a lot longer than most UK female pop stars. I'm still kinda shocked she was able to have a comeback in 2017 after being absent for a while. But as others have said, she has zero artistic direction. She is actually a pretty good singer, but you'd never know it by listening to her musical output

I think her management (ROC?) was amazing during her first era. I was so hyped, because I thought Rihanna 2.0 was here and I liked a lot of the songs on her debut but it was only downhill from there

Yeah. Outside of the ones who broke through in America (Adele, Dua), which UK pop girl actually managed more than two successful eras?

Only ones I can think of are Cheryl (who then tumbled like a rock the moment the streaming era began) and Kylie (not British rip).

I think Rita actually managed to squeeze quite a lot out of some decent singles. She'll just do the usual transition to full-time celeb/TV personality now.

She only got the Rihanna rejects.
