I started listening to Short N Sweet once

The promo run for Man's Best Friend and imagery turned a lot of people off her. Whether it's ironic or not, this was not the societal climate to be on all 4's for a man and release a country-pop song as the lead.

Huge "we didn't read the room" moment for her and her team. Also 0 grammys from that gamble. Maybe they can review their mistakes for next era?

I feel like Sabrina Carpenter being hot is the major problem if we are being honest. Sabrina is not one of those average looking blonde pop girls. She is actually a pretty blonde lmao. Also her image is sexual

This happens to nearly every pop girl once they're really established, that's how you know she's here to stay.

People can keep fuming, too; her discography is excellent (especially MBF), and she's the best girl to breakthrough in ages.

Shes too gimmicky, and people are just not here for that anymore.

you can dislike the album, but if she want another Short n Sweet she could do it. The reason why Man`s best friend is not as well received because most people think Short n Sweet is catchier, and that is correct. MBF is harder to digest and you might not digest it but at least appreciate she did try something different.

MBF is entirely derivative in sound and concept to SNS. Why anyone thought it was going to do much at the Grammys is beyond me.

She still had a successful era, but I she's starting to become overexposed.

I haven't seen any hate, but I will definitely say this era made no noise (and not bc of the content per se but bc of the lack of output / effort on her behalf)
