Why don't popstars ever sing about more interesting topics in life, or at the very least different kinds of relationships, like family or friendship? Sadly, I agree, the MV is cute and the male actor did a great job, but she's giving a nothing-burger of a performance in it like, I don't need her to go extra crazy or anything like that, but at least something more (subtle expressions, emotions, anything) would make it better. Instead, she just keeps the same face pretty much through the entirety of the video which is a shame, considering how much I loved her performance in Wicked (and she was even better in For Good). The song is amazing tho. Her leads aren't usually amongst her strongest singles, but I'd put this one like at #4 in my ranking (I only prefer ntltc, yes and?, and positions)
