Despite the Obsessed Camila Haters constant b*tching and moaning and wishing for her to retire, Camila Cabello is currently working on her 5th studio album (her 7th overall, including with her former band Camila & The Harmonies)

The surprising part is that she appears to be teasing a country era, wearing cowboy hats and posting country music on her insta stories:

What do we think?

After being targeted in Lana's Question For The Culture essay, will Camila release a country album before Lana is able to release Stove?

Will she reach the artistic heights of Lady GaGa's Joanne, Miley's Younger Now, and Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter?

Discuss.

not sure she is going full country . maybe a song or two influenced by it.

I always welcome something that isn't pop, so I'm here for it.

Well, she already has the eventual racism scandal...

She'll fit right in with the genre, I don't doubt that for a second.

And a Beyoncé stan would know!

NOO WE NEED TRIPHOP

I really doubt it's going to be a country album. She apparently worked with Jon Bellion again (Shameless/Liar) and the tour aesthetics suggest a return to more debut/romance sound. Plus Jasper is back, so I don't think she will completely ditch what she was doing on her last album either.

The @Post Malone print

It's giving

I hope not. The C, XOXO sound and aesthetic is what she should continue exploring.

Ain't no crying in the honky-tonk yeehaw let my cousin carry the seeds of my child baby

her The Giver (flop) is coming!!!!

She's at such a weird point in her career... I don't know what genre would make her successful again but it's not country that's for sure

She should focus on just making a genuinely good album, cause she hasn't done that since Romance

It'll tank and I'm not excited to hear it

I wish the best with her own cowboy cosplaying era, hopefully she releases a bop and gets a quick lil #1.

Country-latin bop incoming?

Her Shakira - El Jefe is coming

Her trying a different sound for each album, great for her stans I guess, but this is just the khia formula

As would you!

Her Red is coming.

anything she releases is just going to bomb into oblivion anyways, she should save us time by not releasing anything

Her Cowboy Cabello era is coming

She's about to destroy the Bubbling under chart. LFG

Just release c.xoxo outtakes, no one wants that country shyte

At most I imagine something like this

Good luck. If the last era is any indication, two streams incoming, and ATRL will do the rest. 🍿
