I like this a lot and I wasn't expecting it from the comments on here.

I think it's very understated, and I could see why some say it may not work a first single. I think it's one of those that you appreciate more once the album is out.

I think it is great and it's good seeing him take a sonic risk. He could've easily churned out another As It Was.

However, he says so little of substance in his lyrics that the emotional hook always remains absent.

For a 5 minute song it went really quick actually

It's very LCD Soundsystem/Nation of Language overall. The chorus gives me something The 1975 or Caribou would put in a song. I like it.

I am hoping he will go harder with the electronic aspect in the album because this is feels like a nice introduction, minimal electronic

Waiting til the 2:00 min mark to introduce the hook is crazy.

I don't mind the song necessarily, the production is nice but this is way too monotone for how long it is.
