Yeah, the Alessia Cara case is really interesting. After an artist has a successful first album, they have at least a hyped launch of their second era (and then the success of the album depends on a lot of factors). With Alessia, no one even tried to check the somphomore lead single. And the singles from the first album were everywhere.
