Of course nothing is guaranteed. But releasing albums that often really gives me an impression that an artist only cares about keeping a public profile and constantly be relevant, instead of actually feeling the music. And I would rather have an album of **** quality released once in a while, that would really depict that time for the artist, instead of listening rushed albums that feel like they are existing just because of of business/marketing purposes.

Cancellation. There is no need for any awards for music at this time and age other than the Grammys. All those VMAs, AMAs, and PCAs should be ended, they are just PR events.

Honestly, I would rather wait 4 to 5 years for a quality album where you have to digest each of the songs slowly. I would be too overwhelmed with albums every year, to the point that I would stop caring about the artist.

If you can choose between these two extremes. Would you rather have your fave release every year (like Rihanna in her prime, or Taylor now...) or Would you wait 4 to 5 years for a new album (Christina Aguilera in her prime, Adele...)

The discussion regarding Miley made me think... Imagine that you are a big artist with very high tour demand. And imagine you have big hit songs that pay your bills, and you can easily avoid touring. Do you think you would love or hate the concept of being on the road constantly for an extended time? Honestly, it would sound EXHAUSTING for me. I now get tired when I'm on a 10-day holiday while visiting multiple cities. I can't imagine working and entertaining people on top of that.
