Opalite is still top 10 in its 13th week, peaked at #2 in so many countries.

Opalite ended all of Gaga, so I'd say Opalite.

Opalite already has better chart peaks and better chart runs in many major markets and on the Global 200. It has spent more weeks in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 than every solo Gaga single + RoM added together since Appluase. It's currently poised to return in its 13th week and would've never left if it wasn't for Christmas. It reached 400 million on Spotify much faster than Abracadabra. 78 days vs 114. It's currently outstreaming it day vs day as well. All with much less promo. Like night and day. No video, no Grammys, no tour, no official radio release, no performance, nothing. It also spent the last month in the Christmas Freeze.

It's very likely Oplaite will outstream in the end, even if Taylor never mints it as a single. If she pushes it, it will be a blood bath.

Idk why people act obtuse about things that are objectively measurable. Does it make you feel better? Abra can indeed be bigger on Chromatica and in your hearts, but Opalite is bigger in the real world. It's no wonder Monsters in here refuse to use objective data, but what's the point of discussion if it always ends in, "My favorite thing is the best in every way, even when we have to ignore quantifiable data to answer a data based question."

Opalite smashing doesn't take away from Abracadabra's success. This is very much one of those situations where, if the roles were reversed and y'all were arguing with Hive, you'd be laughing about the vibes defense. Yet you employ it against Swifties every time .
