Can someone please explain how the post cited below is warnable in Base? When there are people on this site (will not mention any names but we know who they are) whose sole existence is dedicated to trolling and the admin of this site has stated that trolling and flamebait is allowed in Base, I got warned for this post. Can someone please clearly explain the rules so we are not constantly subject to the whims and personal vendettas of biased mods and rules that are constantly fluid and everchanging and can be interpreted any which way whenever a mod wants to punish a poster they personally dislike? What does "harshly drag" even mean when Madonna gets called a pedo and Beyoncé illiterate in Base on the daily not to mention the endless daily Britney trolling? Ironically my post merely stated facts and wasn't making a personal judgement either way. Either set down a set of rules and follow them for everyone or just make it a free for all. Thanks!

keep the focus on yourself, not others. for example, if you deserved a raise at work, you wouldnt point out what your coworkers are doing; you keep focus on your own contributions to the team.

Just had a quick search, and from what I can see the last post using this term as a pjerorative (as opposed to just critiquing the term itself) was from June 2020 (where that user got told off by the Moderation account), so not sure where you're getting that from.

If you see something you thing requires moderator action, use the report function so that we can see it and action it if necessary. You are also not privy to every WP and moderation decision that takes place behind the scenes.

cant speak for everyone, but several insensitive comments involving death, transphobia, and body shaming toward female celebs have been warned. even the minor jokes are discussed and investigated by the team.

i take it you referring to a specific WP. so im happy to review it and coordinate with the mod who actioned it, if that would help?

It's because the posts were deleted. ScoripiosGroove has called Gaga "TransGa" around 3x and the 4th time he censored himself and said "*****Ga" instead

The user who literally said "BodyBagney" is the first post in this thread (Mitsokou)

I'm starting to think that individuals are taking actions on their own as opposed to the moderator team as a group going over these reports because there's no way in hell these users remain active while others do significantly less and get a ban.

I understand and I value your input. At the same time, it always feels like I am chasing rules people are making up on the spot or interpreting at will. The goalposts are constantly moving. It's not even the points themselves it's just that I'm actually really good at following rules when the rules are clearly outlined.
