The organizations themselves are equally likely to be publicizing this of their own volition, if not more likely, because there's a documented trend of Swifties matching or exceeding her initial donations to various causes when they are discovered or publicized. They're just leaving money that could help people on the table by not saying something.

Despite praising Taylor for donating, I got downvoted by a bunch of Swifties for saying the original announcement made it feel disingenuous to me. Now, here we are about 5 or so announcements later, and the same people are refusing to acknowledge the blatant PR angle of this.

It is wonderful that she's donating all this money, for tax purposes or otherwise, but all of these charities making the announcements at the same time is quite clearly a purposeful positive PR moment for Taylor. That is why it feels disingenuous and forced.

Forced charity is still charity (not that I even think it's forced, it's been a longstanding tradition for artists to give back to their fans & their communities via philanthropy. That it creates goodwill for the donor's persona is a feature, not a bug, of charitable donation.
