I also love her husky voice... her tone is so smooth. She's one of a kind. Truly a gifted singer. <3 (also heavily underrated in that department).

What most of you don't know is I used to bump purses with her pool boy and she is secretly supportive of gay people.

BTW, she turned 85. What a survivor in the music industry. She first appeared in 1962.

Imagine being in this industry for 63 years. That alone warrant a special achievement award.

My fave tune is a song which is called The Letter.

The song is so legendary. I knew it before I knew who sang it. It was one of those songs that would get heavily airplay by my mum back then.

Here she is singing one of the most difficult pop songs ever written with a live orchestra, no lipsyncing, while heavily pregnant.

I met her once and she was very kind and sweet. She's a legend and deserves all goods things in life.
