  1. Love Bey but Janet pretty much clears any pop girlie
  2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Bowl_XXXVIII_halftime_show_controversy
  3. Jay-Z thowing Colin Kaepernick under the bus for an NFL check was a truly vile move that didn't get nearly enough scrutiny.
  4. Your grandma fucks her grandkids?
  5. AFTER he shot Megan?? Oh that's nasty.
  6. I just know Madonna must've been so nasty to Janet behind the scenes (as she was according to dancers who worked with both of them at the time). Janet is usually so sweet and non-confrontational.
  7. Lemme dust off some old tea chyle Living legend Toni Braxton recorded and co-wrote Me and My Boyfriend in 2002 for her album More Than a Woman and was planning on releasing it as a single with Irv Gotti on the remix. Shortly after she sent the song to Gotti (a Jay-Z associate) so he could record his verse, Beyoncé and Jay-Z released '03 Bonnie & Clyde, which used the same concept (2pac sample) and hook. Toni later said she was hurt by the situation and felt the song had essentially been taken from her. Godni was MAD y'all "All I know is I hired Gotti, which is through Def Jam, and all of a sudden, you know, Beyonce and Jay-Z did it. I'm disappointed because I'm a huge fan of both of them. You know, I'm like, I've been in the business 10 years. Now I got these new up and coming trying to steal my mojo and I'm like, what's up with that? That's not cool. I'm just disappointed. It's a code of ethics. I mean, like, Mary, me, Whitney, Mariah, Janet, it's a code of ethics. We don't even like try to work with the same producers that other people work with on our current albums. We're like, I'll wait till the next album. We respect each other. You shouldn't do that. All I care about is you're messing with my child's college fund. I should get a little piece of that publishing because I co-wrote it too in a way. You know, you mess with me and my family. I'm a whole different person. Everybody's like, you know, Tony, she's conservative. She's classy. Don't mess with my children. Don't mess with my family. I'm a different chick. I ain't having it. I mean, I did the song in June. People from Def Jam came and heard it. It's like, yo, T, that's hot. You need to release that as your second single. That's the joint right there. You know what? So I'm like, oh, yeah, you know what? Yeah, maybe we should do it single. So it was set to be my second single. So I'm floored." Why has J.Lo been dragged for decades for stealing Mariah's Firecracker sample idea, while Beyoncé and Jay-Z never seem to get the same smoke for what happened with Toni despite how eerily similar both situations are? If anything, Toni's situation was worse given how similar Me and My Boyfriend and '03 Bonnie & Clyde actually are.
  8. A definite pop/R&B bible. Sequels are tacky though and very rarely live up to the originals. Should've Known Better already served as a mature reflection on Rhythm Nation's legacy rather than an attempt to recreate it. Janet revisited themes of social injustice, war, discrimination and political division while acknowledging that many of the issues she was singing about back in 1989 remain painfully relevant today.
  9. Speak up sweetie. We're not gonna jump you
  10. Following the iconic "Ooh y'all smoking up in here", Janet debuts a new meme
  11. A Tory Lanez apologist hanging out with one of Andrew Tate's minions? That tracks.
