It sucks so much that she's likely a frontrunner in all GF categories but not the favorite in any of them, she could very well be the runner up in all three and we wouldn't even know

And yes even SOTY, I feel like Abra will also get a lot of love there because its melody is too strong and has a classic Gaga feel that appeals to a lot of people. I actually feel like the SOTY nom kinda hurt the song's potential to win ROTY cause there might not be a consensus of which award it should get and it could end up losing both as a result.

if you knew anything about sound engineering and compression you'd know the vocal you're praising is compressed to death, you can hear it distorting during the chorus and the dynamics are completely blown out. compression doesn't mean bad, but you don't KNOW WHAT IT MEANS

It's not compressed at all, it's untouched with some reverb, which is all her voice needs. Vanish Into You is an example of compressed to death
