the 30th at night in Japan is the 30th in the morning in America. that gives her basically 2 days + time before and during the Japan show to rehearse.

If Gaga leaves Tokyo immediately after her concert on the 30th, she'd arrive in Los Angeles around 5-6p on the 30th. She'd have almost 48 hours between arriving in Los Angeles and the Grammys. Time to rest and to rehearse if she wanted to. Even if she left Tokyo in the morning after her concert, she'd arrive in Los Angeles the early morning of January 31st.

So it's very possible it could happen without her being rushed and not having time to rest and unwind before the Grammys. Considering how quiet she's been on TikTok even after Mayhem Requiem, I wouldn't be surprised if she's been rehearsing and cooking something up.

Edit: I also have a hard time believing that Gaga/her team wasn't very aware of when the Grammys would be happening versus her concert dates/schedule. She/her team would've known long ago that she'd likely have nominations between Harlequin/Mayhem and would have planned on attending. So I think she felt the concert in Tokyo on the 30th and then going to LA for the Grammys was doable.
