A compressed album would be COADF on streaming (fossil oomf said it sounds better on CD), because both the production and vocals are rather quiet especially for a dance album. However, Mayhem is not that, the production is crisp and loud.

Gaga had 4 song do over 1 million streams yesterday (DWAS, Poker Face, Just Dance, and ARUTW) and an additional 4 songs do 900k streams yesterday (Bad Romance, Judas, Abracadabra, and Shallow). Abra will be hitting 700 million Spotify streams within the next few days (as well as surpassing Alejandro) and Shallow will be hitting 3 billion streams within the next week or so as well.

TBH, even in that very unlikely scenario, we've gone through way worse. We'd be back at it by Monday.

I don't mean to be obnoxious but Don't Call Tonight slaps different live. Gaga's voice is PERFECT for that kind of music. It's in the same universe as World On A String and she's an on-several-psychedelics surfer rock superstar and she was BORNNNNNNN that way

The fact that she has performed this song as many times as Hey Girl and one more time than Plastic Doll and I Like It Rough is so funny to me

I hope she makes some speech about ice on the grammys, im not usually the one to demand a statament from her but this is getting to hard to ignore
