I believe things are lining up for a 2027 LG8 release at this rate. She's probably still in the writing stages and will continue to be while finishing the tour. After she's done with touring and settles in around May, I can see her locking in the album's direction and recording. Typically, once she's focused it can take her 6-8 months to finish (Joanne was mainly done from March to Sept 2016 & Mayhem Nov 2023 to June 2024). After that, it's 2 months to mix/master, then 2 months to press the vinyl. That brings us to a Q2/Q3 2027 release, in time for the 2028 Grammy deadline. Single can be out early next year. A single later this year and album early next year is the best case scenario unless she's much further along than we think.

I don't think there's a Mayhem deluxe; Requiem will conclude the era and TDWP song will hold us over this year.

this makes sense. gives MAYHEM its time to say goodbye with the final leg and Requiem release in spring 2026, then a break for pretty much the rest of the year for her to rest and work on the album while putting out TDWP2 single. then 2027 album rollout and release followed by a massive 2028 stadium tour.

I just checked Carl Deans following list on Instagram and she only shows up as the 5th person he followed recently. He also followed Bad Bunny and Future. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Just finished the doc and it was everything I thought it was going to be. I sobbed throughout. My favourite part was when they're recording Love For Sale and he tells her he just wants her to be happy. So poignant. Even though he was already dealing with Alzheimer's at that point he could see she was going through it.

I think it did such a beautiful job of showing the cycle of life and mentorship. Gaga comes to him an insecure and inexperienced pop performer who needs guidance from someone older and wiser, and by the end of the documentary she's the pro taking care of him and arranging the whole show. I mean, the difference between 2011 and 2021 is just staggering. 10/10
