Nobody is policing her right to become a parent. I can have sympathy for her health struggles, and still point out that her condition doesn't give her the right to genetic reproduction.

Being a rich person should not give you the possibility to rent another woman's body. Twisting the commodification of a womans reproductive system into a feminist-issue is cognitive dissonance on your side.

But you're right in the sense that we don't know enough about her surrogacy and again, it could be a friend or someone doing it for altruistic purposes. But the reality is that the surrogacy industry in general exploits poor women and even borders on human trafficking a lot of times. USA being one of the few countries where commercial surrogacy is legal should tell you enough.

This absolute nonsensical comparison. Women can and do donate eggs. (It's a very invasive medical procedure with health risks, so it's obviously not as popular as simply jerking in a cup)
