The reason they said that is because Mayhem Requiem was a brand new thing. So technically it's the last thing that Gaga did for Mayhem era. The tour film is just a film of the tour which already happened before Requiem, I am pretty sure that's what her and Michael meant.

MAYHEM Requiem was filmed in January and the Tour special was filmed in February. She's not going to scrap it and please don't bring up the Joanne World Tour. She was in a really bad place as opposed to how happy and full of life she was during the entire MAYHEM Ball run.

I have always found this song to be a bit… unlistenable but I love this performance, I remember being pretty happy she was finally showcasing her new vocals with her own actual song
