B day is a loud album and is funk inspired so that just ties to act 3 being Rock/funk infused. It makes since for her to reissue B day. That's a loud ass album and we know act 3 will be loud as well

I'd love to hear her old songs with her current vocal prowess. She doesn't have to re record the entire album, just her favorites (flaws, resentment, freakum) and pull some other songs out of the vault and put some fresh vocals on them (woman like me 2026 would gaaaaag). Would be a bonus disc. Disc 1 would be a remastered for the digital age version of the deluxe album (without the Spanish disc 2) but with the original tracklist. Release it as a 2LP vinyl reissue/2 disc cd

she can remove flawed and drawl for all I care. Just give me dolby atmos mixes (done by whoever did blackout) cleaning up the production and I'll be happy

Could be as simple as her creating a demarcation around the re-issue and indirectly (yet purposefully) making clear that this is a side thing. If so, I could see her letting the rollout happen "around her" and the sole acknowledgement being one grid post day of release.

That, or she'll use her social for the main announcements around it.

I agree in theory, but I also think Bey is potentially trying to learn from the über successful swift model here - using a fan favourite album re-recording to build hype and affection for her 'brand' before launching a new solo project. If executed properly, this could massively boost her standing with Act III.

Also, I think Act III will have an inherent fanfare attached to it considering it's the finale of a project that has really resonated at many moments with the general public (Break My Soul, Cuff It, Mute Challenge, Super Bowl, Texas, Met Gala).

The hype around Act III will be inevitable. The cover reveal, the track list reveal, the genre reveal, and the lead single will all be promo enough.

Most of the reason Bey flopped with EiL was because nobody wanted her to be stuck to Jays hip - people were desperate for solo work. And then The Gift was just a terribly marketed and conceptually confusing project which had no clear target audience or purpose—so I think we're good tbh
