Taylor's team really played the long game when CS finally hit #1 in October. I think it taught them that they could have both longevity and a #1 peak for post-album singles if they play their cards correctly (and the song is actually good). I'm hoping they can recreate that same success for Opalite.

If she's mimicking 1989 E.Taylor will absolutely be third single. Its one of those 'perfect pop songs' that has less hook-y lines a la Style. Wood will get the remix treatment and Father Figure to close out the era.
