Yes but she was smart in the way she handled those topics, she wasnt in your face about her activism in fact a lot of it was behind the scenes. You dont see republicans going after her because of that, she knew to not talk about politics cause half her fans were conservative, her own words. This is why i'm laughing at people saying Jane Fonda in this thread when she is hated by half the country since the Vietnam war, lets be real. I dont think anyone is up there with Dolly, a recent poll showed she was rated the most favorable american, and it wasnt even close. I'd say Celine Dion probably ranks pretty high too

And she went out with such a banger of an album! Its not perfect, but its mostly composed of great songs that have aged well

While not my favorite Christina song, objectively speaking I think this might be her artistic peak. Not only does she sound incredible, the lyrics and the visuals go together amazing and its just a song/video that whenever I revisit I'm always impressed and never get bored of watching (unlike Beautiful). So do you agree? Is "Hurt" Xtina at her best?

When I think of iconic performances, I dont think of any Taylor performance. And that's fine, where she truly shines are in those acoustic performances she's done over the years, specially the surprise songs on the Eras tour. Some of those performances and mashups were great. I can think of a few cases where I even preferred the live version over the studio one, like that time she did Labyrinth in Buenos Aires, still think of that piano version regularly and wish it was available to stream in better quality.
