I do have it but I don't get any likes. I've been advised by straight male friends to cough up for the HingeX and it is the only way. However! My female friends said absolutely not.

 

But I need a gay guy's perspective. SHOULD I PAY?

Would've disagreed with this until a couple years ago, but now it's definitely less toxic than the other one

I've got a hinge date tn that I'm really excited about and we've been talking for a few weeks and things seem really good so— fingers crossed!

I would never pay for dating but I know that depends on where you live, etc. I live in a pretty gay city and would say Hinge is the best dating app to use. 

I don't date. People annoy me.

Hing has been the most successful app for me as a gay man to get real quality dates. Though, I live in Manhattan so that's a factor.

I used hinge and talked to a few guys on there... unfortunately things didnt work out with any of them. Dating apps attract broken people, never again. 

Is Hinge used by gays? I always thought that was primarily a straight app.  Isn't that the app where the one with the poosay has to reach out first?

I've met the most LTR oriented men and had better quality dates on hinge than the other apps

I met my partner 2.5 years ago on hinge.  Worked for me and only used the free version.  

The gays use Hunch now.

no, it went downhill after the pandemic. People swipe because they're bored and respond one sentence every 2-3 business days. 

Most of my partners over the years were met through Grindr. Never used Hinge
