From being the biggest album of 2023, to barely doing 3 million streams, mind you it has almost 21 tracks

 

The recurrent streams for Anti-Hero are awful as well, not to mention the other singles have yet to reach a billion

 

What went wrong?

Because it was already dated upon arrival.

Yea those récurrents actually are kinda bad for Taylor's standards 

 

she has so many albums at this point, I think a lot of the hardcore fans prefer and are streaming more pre-2022 stuff like folklore, Lover etc

Because it was dated upon release and offered nothing really new, just a rehash of a sound she'd already done that wasn't interesting in the slightest.

It aged very well. People are simply streaming her follow up albums more. 

I think it still holds up very well

 

Streams might be lower now but with Taylor they might improve over time

I screamed at this part: 

"Labyrinth" was the most stable, down 4.13%.

No idea what those numbers mean tbh, I just know it's one of her best albums Up there with Folklore and Evermore. 

Because her streams are inflated by the mass streaming of her fanbase. They are now putting TLOAS on repeat instead, which contributes to Midnights's downfall in daily streams

Chromatica is doing 421,328 daily which is 13% of Midnights total daily streams (3M) 

 

BRAT and there's three more songs is doing 2,096,915 daily as we speak, considering it's a global phenomenon 

Because she's released how many albums since then? I actually like Midnights more than TTPD, anthology, and TLOAS.l, but she's put out so much material since then that it kind of got buried. 

I mean, she completely walked back the lyrics to Track 1 alone on her new album.

It was never good, but the follow up albums being even worse probably made its problems more apparent.

Swifties mass listen one album a year. Once the year is up the jump to the new one even if they hate it.

And tbh that happens with all big fanbases. Hive and Monsters are the same

Only the albums with GP hits stay afloat.
