He produced Legend Swift's worst album in full but when did he start sucking as a producer overall? I'd say after Legend X's Your Body and Let There Be Love. Taylor needs to go back to Jack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The acclaimed eternal sunshine only came out last year, so him sucking must be a very recent thing.

I don't think Max is the problem babes just look up past life by Ariana Grande that also came out this year. Maybe Taylor should just find a better sound for her music 

New Woman was great, Eternal Sunshine was great. I think as a producer Max and his camp work better when they have a lot of time. Showgirl was put together in under a year while on tour. Off the top of my head, thank u next's worst tracks were from Martin, put together in a hurry too.

Max made eternal sunshine with Ariana in 3 month. The problem is the artist. Max did great work on both TUN and ES

 

taylor is the fault of this being trash. A producer can only help so much when they have an artist is trying to make a quick cash grab. Taylor has no vision as an artist anymore and needs to take a damn break

I remember seeing a YouTube short where Benny Blanco claimed that he was working on the Teenage Dream song and California Gurls because he came into the studio late and Max just happened to walk by while Blanco was working on those song. Apparently everyone had thought they already had 2 singles (One that Got Away and another song) and Benny was outside working on the songs because he came in late and later Max stopped by and heard what he was comming up with on the laptop...

yet everyone claims Max is the genius. I think they all work as a writing camp and then vote on what song they think has the most potential and move forward with that one... so like the song could be 70% done and yet yall cream claiming Max and Dr. Luke were the geniuses.

I'd argue it was by the mid 2000s. His output has sucked for a long time in terms of pop. I was dragged for years stating that he's an overrated producer anyway. Half his solid works come from the collaborators and co-producers swipes credits from instead of just himself 

well, after this new album, I think it's really, really clear, at the point of no more doubts of who is the true mastermind of these lukewarm songs that AntonOFF and Minimum Martin produced.

Bad Idea and Ghostin are great songs tbh, Bloodline was great when it came out but it aged quickly.

 

Eternal Sunshine was done quickly too, Ariana wrote the album in September/October 2023, Max worked on the production for a few weeks and Ariana handled the vocal production, it was finished by December!

Also, speaking about the last couple of years, he produced some amazing songs for The Weeknd.

 

 

 

 

 

He is NOT the problem cause eternal sunshine was EXCELLENT 

every producer out there has their best hits and lowest misses regardless of their talents.

i really dont like Jack Antonoff or his oversaturation of pop music in the last 10+ years but he has some of my fav songs of all time

the same could  be said for literally any producer on earth.
