A gorgeous song. One of the many great songs on the album.

My fave song from my fave artist. 

The video is not available where I live (US)  her team needs to get it together. The fact one of her classics is blocked in the biggest music market is just unacceptable.

The vocal layering (this is kinda true for all Janet songs) in the second half of the song is so so so so good

I thought this topic was about the iconic I Get Lonely .

Underrated. The three ballads at the end of RN1814 deserve more love.

The vocal stacking and harmonizing with herself is insane. Imo she's just as good as Mariah in that aspect and isn't talked about enough.

That reminds me of when I played Hot As Ice to my cousins and they were unbothered maybe my stranded (for a while) relationship with them was justified after all.

 

I've been paying Rhythm Nation a lot of dust lately because I prefer other eras of music (late 90s-early 00s) and it might be time to change that. Loooove Lonely.
