Moved to a completely different state on my own to start this PhD program. I thought I would be a little more stable than I am. It has pretty much been a nightmare. I am having to teach for the first time also (the only way I can afford to do this) and that has completely taken over everything and I'm not even doing what I came here to do (write). Feels like I've regressed but maybe all of this just exposed what was already there: I have extreme self-doubt and self esteem issues. I abhor teaching and I feel trapped. Talked to my advisor yesterday after having to cancel one of my classes due to insomnia and not being prepared. He offered me a plan to reduce my load. Hopefully that helps. I'm tired of being in survival mode

I like the flip around to an alter ego. "Black Diamond" was kind of a stale Unbreakable rehash imo

I get the need to pander to the common folk but Say Dat probably could've been cut. Head to Toe does the same thing but a little better
