Tate in the "very likely" category. We won! It's honestly the only great album of the year, and the only that's skipless

 

Mayhem is 50/50. Great songs but also a ton of duds

 

Sabrina's MBF is mostly meh. Only 2 amazing songs (House Tour & Tears) and 2 good songs (Manchild & When Did You Get Hot?). The rest is boring

 

The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow is good, it has 2 of Abel's best songs ever (Society & Give Me Mercy), but it also has a ton of skips. I would honestly move it to tier 1

I will be rooting for Mayhem. I don't think it'll win, but it's probably my favorite from all the ones eligible. 

Tate and Justin belong in Tier 4 but otherwise solid predictions 

I'm surprised they put Tate in tier one. I'm not really seeing her getting a nod, but good for her if she does. I think it'll be;

The Weeknd - Hurry Up Tomorrow (I could do with this not getting a nod, but considering they made a feature out of the fact they made up with him at the last Grammys, it would look like a kick in the teeth if they didn't give him a nod)

Some of these tier 1 choices while Elton and Brandi aren't there... HDD never serious.

Idk why Tate wouldn't be in tier 1 tbh? The Grammys don't hate her (she had a BNA nom), the album has hits and was decently big, Tate herself is clearly on the rise. She could get the obligatory "album with hits" slot like ESV in 2023

 

Benito not being in tier 1 though... jail... though maybe HitsDD factored in the Grammys' biases
