Not the backfire. Feeling so threatened you have to gas up claims that you don't actually care about that then also got resolved in like an hour. It's giving those two users always making random ridiculous threads about Jay-Z. Seek therapy ya'll, it's never that serious especially over a majorly positive thing like ... a charity festival. it's bad for some people right now and those people aren't olivia it seems. Good that it was cleared up because the actual important thing is the good charitable work done by this festival's performers and organisers.

Ultimately the matter is two-fold. No, he is not wholly responsible for the output That haS been released recently. We are not going to suddenly pretend especially from the biggest pop artists, that their work isn't exactly what they want to put out. It's true a producer's job is to enhance an artist's vision (or clear lack thereof in recent times) and there's a common denominator in some of them releasing utter shite for this entire decade and it's not exactly Max Martin. It's obvious some people want to blame their fave's failings entirely on him as if they haven't blamed it on 3 other different producers the last few years too. But the other thing is... he also didn't say no. Surely he knew those songs and productions were bad and yet he greenlit them to be released anyway. And it's also not like this is his only fumble given he's now part of 2 of 3 of the lowest MC female albums - and both within the last two years. This does also say something (featuring xtina); after 30 years in the game, his output, as well as those two ladies, has fallen significantly due to... possibly becoming out of touch as new music trends take shape, or possibly just a laziness and lack of drive after hitting it big time for so long. Ultimately whatever the artist puts out IS on the artist, but yeah regardless of those two cases, he's not quite what he was and that's ok after 30 years really. Most of the "iconic" artists after 30 years aren't putting out thought-provoking masterpieces either, so it's not an exclusively him issue.

He has, but clearly, its only when the people he's speaking out for are white and/or the politics are the popular choice.

Because the problem isn't Max Martin. At first the problem was Jack, then it was Aaron, now it's Max. And yet there's only one thing they actually have in common. They're making the music she wants to put out and if, given how OTT she is about her image, she didn't genuinely like it and enivision it this way, she wouldn't have put it out in the first place. This is HER vision.

No ****. It was obvious from the start after it was proven she wasn't in the same state as Jay on those dates. It's sad that that clearly corrupt lawyer who has a history of things like this took advantage of this desperate woman for another extortion scheme. He is just as guilty as she is. Even more disgusting when there are real victims who are not taken seriously because of people like this.

The amount of utter filth in this thread. My god. The only one who could conceivably do it from those is Adele purely bc shes not American so Kraft doesnt have as much power over her as he does the other girls who are too comfortable to speak out. However, that's probably still unlikely for her too. I'd imagine this will be more a collective of smaller artists. It's sad but true that they are the only ones with backbone while the millionaire artists sit on their asses counting gold coins. I can see the likes of Leigh Anne (maybe not bc the pregnancy) and Jade, Zara Larsson etc Good on Macklemore for setting this up and whoever else signs up to be part of this.

yeah this. As soon as I saw that it wasn't a new album like I initially thought (coz the single art has nothing to do with the album theme), and that it was more Max songs and then realised it was for Slowgirl, I immediately decided idgaf because it'd be more than the same. Not intending on listening but seems I was right anyway. I hope one day she takes a long break to recharge her batteries and goes back to basics really thinking about what made her early records (Speak Now and Red) so great.
