sorry, but White Flag by FAR 

 

Someone Like You is very beautiful but years later, there's verrrry little replay value to it  it's also nowhere near being Adele's best piano ballad. Turning Tables, When We Were Young, Remedy, Love in the Dark, Hold On, and To Be Loved are all miles better than it >>>>

Both of these make me cry ooommmgggg 

 

Love them both to tears, but I have a bias for lovey-dovey songs over break-up songs. "White Flag" is one of THEE songs about unrequited love; something I know All Too Well..

 

The saddest part too os that Dido thinks her crush doesn't like her when he actually (secretly) is also very much into her, but they're both so tragically afraid to even speak to one another, let alone profess their feelings for each other.

Dido's pen and unique and beautifully subtle vocals are unmatched. 

White Flag clears

White Flag is perfection  The first seconds of the song make me fly

Someone Like You is an absolute classic but I feel like it's the one Adele song that was so overplayed I can't really hear it anymore. White Flag on the other hand feels way more recent to me since I only discovered it in 2021.

I love Adele to pieces but White Flag is such a materpiece.

Yeah, I'm gonna second everyone so far - SLY is great but White Flag is one of the best songs of the whole 2000s decade, she had something very special with that song

I voted Someone Like You, but White Flag is great as well. I didn't remember it being so good.
