  • cheap ass production, sounds like she just looked up "we can't be friends free type beat" on youtube and went with the first one she found

Laughing at the people suffering from demo-itis. This is why you don't listen to leaks, people.

  • I wonder if it will be getting a UK push

Does anyone have a working link to buy it?

It seems I can't do it either on iTunes store or Amazon.

This is great. I love everything she released so far, looking forward to the album.

its cute! really love the video as well, her visuals never miss. i couldn't really get into all the leaks so the song is very fresh to me thankfully.

sooooooooooooooooooo good!

and better than FUFN

I've seen comparisons to we can't be friends and I think they're a bit unfair to Plastic Box. It's not like Ariana created something particularly unique or was the pioneer of anything. It's like some stans have never listened to a synthpop song before.

In my opinion this song is much stronger; it stands on its own without the need of a short film that has a very developed concept based on a cult movie. Lyrics are simple but straight to the point, raw yet never cringy, song structure a bit formulaic but beautifully done, it feels really heartfelt.

Might be my fav release after Midnight Cowboy.

Song is good and the video is great, definitely in the top 3 for visuals :clap3: AOMD > Fantasy > Plastic Box >>>> the rest

I enjoyed the video a lot but what was the reason for the choices of locations? I respect the Don't Tell Me reference but, why? :rip: I wasn't a fan of the last one, it was really random. Giving "let's just pull over and shoot it here"

I'm sorry but i'm SO tired of the chrome aesthetic, it's extremely dated and uninspired now. Let's leave that in 2020 Jade. :doc:

Oh this is perfection… that prechorus is why I LOVE pop music

I like the video. I would have loved two versions. One version with the plastic box exhibition at the start of the video, full of glamour and beauty shots - a vapid beauty video and then a separate dance / choreography video.

She looks breathtaking and I love her visuals this era.

how to buy it? iTunes and amazon are not working for me....

anybody knows?

PLEASE

Really loving this, music video is great too.

I think FUFN has been the biggest let down of the whole era so far.

Doesn't work but thanks anyway.

gonna cry to this again :WAP:

where all my girls with trauma from previous relationships that left you with a struggling self esteem at

I liked all of her singles but this is probably the weakest one.

I've enjoyed pretty much all her singles, including this one, but I feel like her marketing is a little off. Her image is pretty normal and she's completely unproblematic whereas her sound alludes to someone who shaves their eyebrows and is a little cucu in the head. Maybe that's exactly her appeal and I just don't get it?

Nice video, she has tonnes of charisma and star quality. I enjoyed it, not as much as AOMD or FUFN, but a very nice watch and very aesthetic.

You're right. You don't get it. Jade is someone who is a huge LGBTQ+ advocate, who has 10y+ prior experience in a girl band and has been treated unfairly by the media / record execs etc. She is making the music she enjoys whilst talking about her experiences and experimenting with sound and visuals. She is giving us her version of the pop girl experience.

This is her first record, she might be playing a little safe with her image but she is being true to herself. Jade was always perceived as the innocent, shy one at the start of LM. Shes grown into herself ever since LM5 and has continued to blossom.

Finally got to play this on a good set of speakers and yeah, this song is meant to be played out LOUD. Her vocals sound a little washed out in headphones.
