There is always hope that positive word of mouth and a cute viral moment can help this in the long run. I think we all need to collectively accept the fact that until that big viral moment happens, Jade just is not a big streaming force or traditional hit maker. Which is fine. It doesn't detract from the quality of her music & as long as she's still releasing bops, I think we should all just focus on listening and enjoying the music, and the success will come when and if the time is right.

Honestly, this was expected right after she signed with RCA Records 

Quite a few of her songs build up amazing and you expect this big, exploding chorus but it never comes. 
The verses are sooo good in this as well, but the chorus could be much bigger and better! 

And I'm not saying this as a hater, I really want her to do great, but for me it feels like she's holding back what she's actually capable of. She has so much potential  

 

does anyone know if the album somewhat flows? I feel like the first 4 tracks do but then it gets thrown off going from MC to Fantasy.

In my opinion from 1-9 it flows quite well, then Headache changes it up a bit, but flows well into Natural at Disaster and Glitch and then the last two are a cute duo to close it with.

It's very Billie/Charli but idk if it suits her

I love the single run so far but the promotion is very off. She should've dropped FUFN right after the BRIT Awards performance. Then Plastic Box before the festival tour

 

Her releasing Midnight Cowboy + It girl also kinda derailed the era a bit

She lost me a bit with Midnight Cowboy and It Girl but this is excellent, the real follow up to AOMD 

The demo was solid but the final is pure excellence

She does NOT miss. 

 

The song is amazing, video meh. I am still so baffled by this album rollout, her label must hate her or something.

I posted in a comparison thread about how I think the song is a bop but I wouldn't revisit it... but I fear I have been listening to it quite a few time since.

I should probably stop making such statements, seeing as how I even switched up on Gnarly a month after it released. 

 

 

This album will be pop excellence.

For those that heard the album, is Plastic Box the strongest song left on the album and that is why it's a single with a video or are there others?

I like this, it's just a bit, safe. Nothing has really wowed me since Angel of my Dreams. I do love her music though.
