Given the non existent promo and streaming support for this release, 3 weeks on the UK charts is a miracle.

 

I wonder when will RCA wake up and realize they could also invest in proper EU promo. Like, sending songs to radio. FUFN and PB are huge misses strategically wise. Especially considering how she's actually building a niche fanbase (did you see the Montreaux Jazz Festival set? Would've never imagined a Swiss crowd to be chanting FUFN chorus, yet … that happened!)

I have a strange obsession with this song lately, so damn good. I think I have a soft spot for this kind of melancholic synth heavy dance pop with sad lyrics, no matter the artist

this song felt too safe compared to the rest of the album for me and now it fits

This might be her best remix/alternate version? Certainly the best since the S.A.D version of Angel Of My Dreams.

 

Listening to this and the single version back to back is wild. The same song but totally different and equally brilliant. 

I love this song so much. The synths are immaculate. The vocal effect (pitch correction?) is frustrating though -- as I find with a lot of modern pop music. I would be curious to hear it without the effect. It muddies her voice. I really love the song and just find the effect so unnecessary

Love this! It's brought a new lease of life to this song again for me.
