This is my song most played song of 2025 already (after FUFN). Miss Thirlwall releasing smash after smash 

This might actually become my fave of the six, def #2 at least behind AOMD

 

I need her to do a little US tour run I am such a fan. 

Not in the Top 20 in the mids as expected, hopefully we'll have a better look where it could be tomorrow..

Realistically, this is probably going to miss the Top 40. Which is a shame. 

Oh, I really like this one, especially the production goes hard.

This is absolutely ethereal, this has no business being single #4, this should have followed up AOMD without a doubt, this is pop EXCELLANCE!

It's about average, really 

 

FUFN was -42% 

Fantasy was -35%

Angel Of My Dreams was -23.8% but this is the obvious outlier in her discography 

 

I can't help but feel like we'd be in a very different position (streaming stats wise), had the songs been released in a different order…

 

IT girl had a pretty big viral moment when it was first teased by Jade after Angel was released, that should have been the immediate follow up as a buzz single (not Midnight Cowboy) and it should have been released in August/September the latest

 

I also stand by the fact that FUFN should have been the single to be released at the time the album was announced to promote the album pre orders

 

And this song should have been the one they pushed on NMF once the album was released

 

And then they could have released Fantasy as an era-ending final single as a "fan favourite song finally gets its justice" moment. 

 

There was no need for Midnight Cowboy to have been released at all and although I like it, it should have stayed unreleased until the album.

Insane how this album is taking SO long to drop, considering it was actually finished before 'Angel Of My Dreams' was even released. RCA really ****** up a hit album's rollout  Hopefully 'Plastic Box' gets a viral moment

Well she mentioned once it was her own choice to release fantasy as second single so 🤷

 

Imma pray for a little cute viral moment for plastic box its just too good to be overlooked 😔

Fantasy is that ***** and deserves 400M streams

 

Love Plastic Box too, I'm buying new earphones on Wednesday it will be one of the first I play!

Just to be clear, the quality of the songs is not the issue and all of the songs she's released deserved more success, but the timing & order of releases did really f*ck up her momentum a teensy bit 

 

Plastic Box is incredible and I will continue to listen on repeat

Just got around to watching the video and she looks absolutely gorgeous my god. The platinum blonde hair really suits her

 

It's also the first time I've really noticed the lyrics and how devastating they are. "Was her ocean deeper than mine? Did you sink into her, fall in love at first sight?" hit me like a truck ngl

Kinda OT, but yesterday I listened to Fantasy for the first time since it was released and OH MY GOD. What smooth, sensual BOP  It never should've been the second single, but I take back everything I said about it being a bad song. She's officially 6/6 for the singles, she's allergic to missing.

I feel like "Fantasy" is what they're doing with "Plastic Box" right now, but it came at the wrong time. It was a good single choice but released at the wrong time.

I love all her single choices, but Plastic Box would've been a safer, more mainstream pick for the second single

The singles may not be setting the charts on fire after AOMD, but her fanbase is building up very, very nicely with the choices so far. 

Have had this on RIHpeat. Such a good emotional, breezy, bopT  The background vocals, harmonies, production etc.  Should've been the 2nd single
