Full-white (all uppers, drawers, etc) is out of fashion. It's like millennial taste gone wrong.

But if you mix white with wood, and natural stone, brass, or black accents, then you have a timeless kitchen.

Unless you have private chef money, a lived in kitchen always looks better. It's like a bathroom imo, you can dress it up a bit but it's about functionality and not aesthetics. Nothing screams I live off of take out and protein shakes like a well decorated kitchen. Just dine/host away from the kitchen :michael:

And even if you do have private chef money, a lived in kitchen is an even bigger flex because you have time to cook your own meals :michael:

Depends on how you decorate it. I started with a newly renovated white kitchen with nice, new appliances and then added woven wood cordless blinds for texture and warmth in color. I also added stained wood floating shelves. I have a lot of muted greens and wood tones around and the fridge is a built in with faux cabinet doors...the countertops are earthy Italian quartz.

My house is done in a mid century modern style so there's a lot of emphasis on earth tones and natural elements.

Aww I was hoping for some pics. I love looking at beautiful interior designs :'(

It's a sign that you don't actually cook. You will never find a good, christian man if you don't step up your game, sis

It only works if it's hyper-modern and built-in to the wall with excellent lighting and high quality fixtures everywhere.  Otherwise it looks like a millennial hellscape.

Yes all kitchens seem to be white and boring I hate it. I'm so glad that I got a little bit of black in my white kitchen

Hoping my next house has a black kitchen :gaycat4:

So white cabinets with a black countertop are timeless?

Where did you get the idea that a black countertop is "accent"? Please read my post again.

No avi no opinion I fear

I wouldn't mind to be white, I'd just say that. I wouldn't necessarily want any bold colors, but more earth tones.

It's the opposite of timeless imo, it feels very fake and sterile. If you want timeless neutrals, go with materials and colors found in nature. Wood, stone, brick, beiges, earth tones in general. Even some specific aesthetics like the industrial design or country design look more timeless than all white since they incorporate a lot afore-mentioned materials and it's not like those looked different 30 years ago or will look different in 30 years.

Japandi or Organic Modern design could be a good choice if you want the  boring  clean and airy feeling of a white kitchen that still feels like a home and not a dentist office or a museum

Timeless because you can't go wrong with it, white works with almost anything.

It gives very much early 2010's futurism/minimalism, everything black, grey or white, straight from Ikea :eli:
