With the combination of the current craze, tour hype, coming summer season and it already doing amazing numbers daily… I have a feeling this will finally have her actually viral moment and blow up which will make Enchanted & DBM’s look like cute little trends.

personally I loved it from the first listen and was obsessed for the first 2~ years, but since then I stopped caring for it much and found it to be way too overrated among the base plus we’ve got a lot of material that drifted my attention from it, but the tour performance reignited my love for it and reminded me how much of a masterpiece it is and the huge mistake I did when I had my listen while driving… :deadbanana4:

Wait, I just realized there's a rattlesnake sound in the background when Taylor hisses at the end of the Anti-Hero bridge. This classic. :heart2:

Yes Anti-Hero is extremely layered and I don't think people fully grasped its complexity. She's finally owning up to being a sociopath through the whole song with references to all of her neurotic behavior ("all the people I've ghosted stand there in the room" is referring to all the fair-weathered friends she collected and discarded around the Squad era, the video being about her alcoholism, etc). The fact that it became her longest running #1 hit because people liked it as a TikTok jingle is a kii.

I would love a Doja collab!

Doja is focusing on recording a "rap only" album rn, would she jeopardize that image for a Taylor collab, though?

She can do a rap feature on Karma :celestial5:

But I doubt that we get any third single, so I would take anything

is it me or does she lip sync most of Delicate at the Eras Tour, especially the chorus?

and it wasn’t a loud backing track, she was full on lip synching

The girls jump down your throat if you admit it but she lips at least 5 songs (not always the whole song, like she's singing the Enchanted verses but not chorus). There is nothing wrong with this, the vocals were pre-recorded, even Bey does this, anyone doing a THREE and half hour show feasibly would :skull: It is not a smart idea to sing for that long, any doctor she consulted had to have told her that. Many artists lose their voice from doing just 1.5 hour-long shows. Nathan from Every Single Album said her team was worried about pulling this off and made many decisions for how to make it the most doable.

What's weird though is what they decided to have her lip. The high notes in Don't Blame Me sound pretty different each time, when I would've thought that's one of the main things to allow her to save her voice with. Cruel Summer I'm not sure, it hasn't sounded the same every time from the videos I've seen but I think there are some pre-recorded vocals in there on the high notes.

I think it's Champagne Problems (359M) for Evermore. Gold Rush only has 186M.

I think it'll be right where you left me. Despite being released to streaming a month after the album came out (where it missed all of the best streaming days the standard edition received), it's already out-streamed 11/15 songs on the standard edition. It's currently the 3rd most streamed song on the album daily, only behind willow and champagne problems. Those songs benefit a lot from 1) being performed on tour, 2) being on the standard edition and 3) being the first 2 tracks on the album so they get played right away even if people don't finish listening to the whole album. Its streaming performance is such an anomaly, especially compared to the lakes and it's time to go. :deadbanana:

tis the damn season's production never gets old :jonny5:

Omg, yes. The first time I heard it I literally thought of the ex-mod Lipton who would call her a narc in SYG repeatedly. Still shook that she addressed it in a song. She knew she had to be totally honest to sell the song, something only a mastermind would do.

Also, I haven't actually seen many people talk about it, but she's definitely singing the pre to the fans, not her beau. Her career will always be more important to her than any man, which I think she made very clear on Midnights through several songs.

Yes, that's what we love about her and why her pulling back the curtain on LWYMMD and Anti-Hero is so interesting. No one else is this psychotic about being the biggest artist in the world (and maintaining that status).

It's why I lowkey believe the rumors about her and a certain young female singer, I think it's the first time she credibly saw someone trying to do the exact same thing she does and stealing her fans in the process and made some behind the scenes moves to stop her in her tracks nnn.

Somebody needs to tell this woman that Vigilante Turd will NEVER happen. Prayer circle its not the video she's currently filming. The Sun is very hit or miss but they have been right about many things before. if only they got the "Midnights had many female collaborators" right.

What if she brought Joey King back since Mean is on SN and now this is some sort of sequel where it’s for Enchanted this time around, just like EHC & TJ&TQ :smitten:

I'm not sure that's a kii at all, it is a complex and layered song but easy to grasp and very relatable - despite not being about love or sex like 99% of pop songs. People who use it as a "Tik Tok jingle" do realize what the song is about :rip: Everyone can relate to that feeling even though it's almost never used in modern pop songs. That's the genius of her songwriting. It was totally fresh and honest. I'm sure we're going to get much more attempts at "introspective" hit songs in the coming years

Well, this is coming from the same person who made Gorgeous and Me singles. :rip: she has the worst taste in her own songs.

Not them breaking up and Taylor going to film a music video :rip:

Can’t believe she’s in my home town Liverpool and I had no idea! I was in the city centre today too!!

and yeah I also noticed it during Enchanted, i’m sure there must be other songs too
