I'm inclined to agree and I've stopped paying attention to critics since TTPD's release but also think I checked out of Pop and its stats after she won her fourth AOTY with Midnights

I would like more content but also get the overexposure people complain about? I'm just happy that no matter what she releases it's on her terms and what she wants because I know that's what most musicians work up too.

I start reading more positive reaction and people are coming to defend. Its a cycle at this point. U know u that girl when you are causing all this conversation over 4 deluxes songs that typically no one would care about if it was any other artists.

I see why people dislike Patient Zero bridge, but after realizing it supposed to be a gossiping conversation with girlfriends then its kinda genius. Or the dislike for Cleveland.

But how come people that "used to like Taylor" can hate on Pink Clouding and Babylon, the melody and lyrics are classic Swiftian.

I agree that she doesn't need a break just because the hate is loud at the moment. She really just needs another musical pivot to further justify why she's the biggest in the world. She's certainly more than capable.

The kind of sad part is that they didn't even actually, officially downgrade the score because it's done by panel rather than being assigned by the writer - the writer herself just spontaneously lost her spine and ability to stand up for her own work and made a snarky comment on her own review, coincidentally on the same day half the internet was snarking over her. The official score is still the same, though I'm sure they'll release one for the deluxe that's like 0.7 and filled with what they think are the most incisive lines ever written.

Not that Pitchfork still had any credibility left whatsoever anyway, but the sheer cringe of being soooo beholden to clicks and half-viral stan twitter posts everyone forgets the next day

Definitely! Taylor is never ashamed of her music. The only time she showed symptoms of such was when ME! was edited.
