Showgirl deluxe instead of debut 20th anniversary is certainly a choice but what am I if not seated for everything this woman does?

I hope that deluxe will at least be full of great great songs to give some dimension and depth to the album. I know she has it in her as long as she took the time to re-focus since she made the album. There's definitely some potential for an "encore" or "curtains" moment.

Excitement will probably come once we get closer. But right now this is how I look.

It makes me wonder if we'll even get something for the 20th anniversary though? This was kinda the best opportunity for Debut.

at least we'll finally know if she really lost it or not with this deluxe… cause if it is a deluxe the only intention of it is to clean up the mess that was the horrible reception, so she's clearly trying to make it the best work possible. especially since she was so insistent that it was amazing on its own and made a STRONG point that there will be no deluxe

Reworking the album is the worst thing she could do. She might have deleted "hey, kids! Spelling is fun!" from streaming services but the damage has been done. I'd rather her stand by her music than act all embarrassed as if anyone forced her to release it

And before anyone says anything, standing by her music and accepting criticism are not mutually exclusive. She has always stood by her music but you could always tell how criticism shaped her decisions
