I mean if it is a showgirl deluxe it could work in her favour.

Showgirl is the first Taylor album I never saved to my library, there are 2-3 songs I like the rest isn't great imo. This seems to be a common sentiment.

BUT it was her biggest first week album even though it was a critical flop. A proper deluxe with enough new tracks to re-write the narrative would be a good way to course correct, and put her in a better place before TS13. Which she clearly does not want to rush into or mess up.
