There's way too much now, something is definitely coming very soon. I think announcing at the VMAs would be a little…unwise. Hopefully she'll announce before then her appearance will generate more press.

Also feel like more signs are pointing to Showgirl. Just weird language to use for Mr. S AND for the paper to be behind the Showgirl tracklist.

But then all the country music talk + radio relationship building AND the fact that releasing self-titled TV makes BY FAR the most narrative sense as a 20th anniversary celebration. Plus the paper is also behind the announcement of her buying her masters.

Idk y'all! Normally I think there's one rationale theory and one crazy one floating around when she moves, but both these seem possible.

Personally, I agree that she should just let Showgirl rest. She could release four Blank Spaces and that toxic discourse around that album wouldn't change. Save good music for TS13 and rebuild goodwill with Debut 20 and rep 10.
