Money was the most immediate for me. What were yall expecting??

 

The album is very moody and understated. I can see it really growing on me a ton as the summer goes on.

In The Rain is truly one of the more recent pop songs that feels nostalgic but not like anything else. The song reminds me of Britney just in aura alone! Addison really did her homework for this album, but In The Rain is my highlight! 

On first listen, the second half kinda demolishes the first.

 

I was getting worried between the first two album cuts being meh and L&F only being an interlude, but SF seriously breathed new life into the album for me! Everything after was great, though my one critique is that a proper transition from LNFTCW to HO would've been nice. 

 

Looking forward to a second listen later today!

It's a cute debut album. 5-5.5/10 for me. 

 

My biggest issue is her writing and phrasing. The two bar rhyme schemes REALLY take me out of most songs. That, and the fact that every song sounds like she wrote it 5 minutes before recording. That said, the production is decent all the way through with some great ideas all around - I just wish the mix sounded a bit more dynamic and 3D, someone like AG Cook could have really helped with that.

 

The lyrics all around are pretty subpar and bland but I'm sure her writing skills will improve - I rather this than something handed to her by Julia Michaels or whatever. I think she's one to keep an eye on. Not quite an artist yet but she has a good ear.

Umm yeah not for me. It sounds like background music, like it's all one long song, but I guess that's what people are into these days. 

Money is everything is … everything. Easily my fave on the first listen, can't take it off repeat

Would've loved 5 more tracks which included at least 2 more upbeat songs

I'm kinda disappointed? I really loved the pre release singles, but found the album tracks very weak...

i LOVE this album

Best album released this year

 

This was so boring  

 

The songs follow the same type of sound and it becomes tedious, it's basically background music bar like 3-4 tracks.
