It's been very boring and basic for mainstream pop but Slayyyter's album, underscores' album, Kim's album all dropped this year which are some of my favorite albums in a long time.

Miley just texted me! I love that title so much. I just hope the music is good. SB had beautiful ideas but it felt to me like it needed focus and tightening. Some of the songs were long for the sake of being long. Miley's music is best when she's working with people who help her hone in on her best ideas.

You prescribing therapy after typing a comment like this is hilarious. Maybe she's a human being and being hyper aware of the fluctuating opinions that millions of ppl have about her art (which is very closely tied to her identity) is mentally taxing. It makes sense. More artists need to be outspoken about the mental toll of being a celebrity. I think it's important because none of this is normal.

DTLA is one of the catchiest songs of her career and the outro is the most wet and juicy cherry on top.
