This is horribly sad. ASL is one of the most frightening things you can be diagnosed with.

That's so ******* sad. I just looked it up and the life expectancy is only like 2 to 5 years after diagnosis. He's only like 50 and has two teenage kids

Oh hell nah i did not dump buckets of water on myself in high school for this   i just saw the life expectancy rate and my jaw dropped. god this is terrible

I hate seeing this happen to anyone but especially someone with not only so much talent but also so much life ahead of them. I hope he will recover 

Devastating and so sad.  Surprised he'll still be able to film his scenes in Euphoria as well.

What? I had no idea.

 

I thought it was one of those illness that you can live with if you have the right therapy.

You might be thinking of Parkinson's disease, which also affects the nervous system and has a near-normal life expectancy. ALS unfortunately is terminal and has a very short life expectancy of up to five years
