What does "Indio haze" in the chorus mean? I can't find anything when I google it

Lorde's songs are ALWAYS at her best when there is a sense of urgency and rush. That's what was missing from Solar Power :jonny5:

It's a certainly a slow burn

But I'm sorry, the first line of the 'chorus' makes me cringe so much every time :toofunny2: MDMA in the garden? Baby, she should be at the club!

What was that? Excellence I tell you :clap3: hyped for the album!

Indio means poor and stupid in my country during the Spanish colonization.

lyrics like this are literally one of the reasons why i love her so much :rip: like "club" would be wayyy more generic there and garden fits her introvert persona, adds authenticity imo

you never rolled with your friends and just chilled blasting music after the club? or go for a walk in the city? it's better than the kloobs!

This song sounds like a sister to Homemade Dynamite sonically. I liked this song. A solid track!

It'll grow on me even more overtime and I'm sure it'll sound even better in the context of the album.

:bibliahh:

I get the Melodrama comparisons but I think you have to shift the bias towards her arguably best album when she's doing "pop" music.

Melodrama was Lorde. This is Lorde but with a new sound and await the album of all the possibilities she could serve.
