Why

Slay, and welcome back!! Can I start 16th/17th November, with deadline and results in first half of Jan pls?

@supaspaz taking advantage of you being active, any chance I could get sign off to do a Tove Lo rate pls? Thinking of kicking it off end of Nov and results in Jan as I have some downtime around then, if possible! (not sure if there's a queue/wait time window)

Her earlier albums aren't BAD, they're very technically good but just a slog to get through… Jessie Snooze

Thanks sis, just patiently waiting for approval

The good sis Ms @Florence Belch already did a Gaga rate and it was one of the most ICONIQUE rates Flop Perry however…

6 Europe dates and 3 are in the UK… Artists are so LAZY and CHEAP these days my god

@Ace Reject / @supaspaz I think I floated the idea in an older thread, but could I potentially host a Tove Lo discog/mega rate at the end of this year/start of next year once the new album has had a few months to digest please?

I've always made an effort to listen to her music and go to her tours after loving her and being a huge fan in the late 00s and 10s, and I've never followed her socials so didn't realise she was on a downward spiral around her Zionist sh*t That said, like a lot of people here I'm definitely done now I'm aware she's so blatantly on the side of genocide A shame she's choosing to go out like this, but rest in p*ss p!nk

Camp! This will be fun

I hate Pete SO much omg

This is definitely the least amount of hyped I've been for a Tove album ever, I keep forgetting it's three weeks away des fleurs is definitely the highlight of the singles so far (and I haven't heard anything else cos idk where to find chicken anymore) so I'm still excited for the album even if the reviews in here aren't… great

This AI-slopped review…

There are 17 albums (released and upcoming) from artists I like to listen to in my Spotify for 2026, so even if people think this is "the worst year of music" I'm still eating good Maybe you just need to broaden your pallet idk

Well obviously not, cos that was written and recorded by someone Which is again why shitty actually-fanmade songs will also be better and funnier than AI fakes

While I get the sentiment, this feels misogynistic… Also calling out names doesn't make sense. If you're going to do something like this, call out the facial features not just randomly allocate face parts to women. And where's the male version? So many men getting jawlines shaved, lips and cheeks filled, Botox and facelifts etc

Discovered them last summer on a Spotify suggested playlist and love Deep Diving, 300 Dreams and Promise (wyg) - excited to hear a full album!

Corny title

Oooooh XXXVII is coming

Literally all of this - people really need to get offline, go outside, make some friends and live a good life without being so bitter/doom and gloom/judgy

Was a Tove Lo discog rate ever done? All the discourse in her new singles threads makes me feel like hosting one once ESTRUS is out and had time to settle

This feels like a mature/grown-up SK track in a way Not what I expected from Ms Lo and I kind of like that!

As someone who's been a fan/stan since her debut, I won't get my hopes up for a remix album until she announces it herself as Lily isn't known for doing lots of extra releases… The fact she's said she's only announced she's got "one more" makes me think it's more likely to be an outtake in the same vein as her dropping Bass Like Home from Sheezus or singing Party Line from No Shame (But I'll happily be proven wrong!)

I know these results are "bad" cos Reform has the most, but when you actually dig into it, these aren't actually terrible for any party? Greens underperforming is sad but Polanski got Corbyn'd by the media because he's just as politicaly inept as Corbyn. Like come one, the left needs to learn to play the game and not give people easy ammo… Labour holding ground is GREAT actually so we don't get into the Tory psychodrama of switching PMs every 2.5 years and I think I'm in the minority that I don't want Starmer to go - when the only actual alternatives are Tax-Cheat Rayner and Gross Streeting (Burnham is NOT getting a seat before the next election lol) I want Keir to go into 2029 and pay for his mistakes

Charli X taking Niko B's nachos and following in his footsteps of a 14 track 22 minute album, oh short Bri'ish excellence!

This is such a good record from start to finish! Definitely my favourite album of hers - the only song I'd consider maaaaybe a dud is Back on the Wagon
