I mean fact still remains BBC had some serious money management issues

Loona made aproxmentally $12 million from album sales if we average their album sales at $20/album another 10-15 million from touring, a million or so from streaming and however much per event they did.

Yet the company couldn't pay the girls at all in 5 years.

of course because they were a thug company :skull: but somehow they should be considered as a big company in the like of SM, JYP and Cube because jaden jeong lied that loona's debut cost was 9 million dollars lmao

I'm always here for Jungkook praise (even if it's from a BTS hater).

A year or two ago, someone tried to use "Jack of all trades, master of none" as an insult for Jungkook in this thread and when I shared clips of him performing Euphoria while flying over Wembley at 21 yo, they were like "What's so impressive about this?" :rip:

Being a "jack of all trades, master of none" isn't an insult when it comes to performers. Not everyone can be Beyoncé, and that's fine.

But Jungkook is someone with a 12-year career and not a single bad performance to their name. We are talking about performances at the Grammys, Times Square, and FIFA opening ceremony, btw.

When you think about the few male performers worldwide and the current state of K-pop soloists, who could do something like this? He truly stands out.

It's funny how so many people have brainwashed themselves into beliving Yeonjun is the next Jungkook "succesor" as being the "jack of all trades, master of none" (as you said, not in a derogatory way) when Heeseung is right there :biblio:

The way you went from stanning both "global success" and "Billboard" to now hating Billboard's only chart ever that has measured global success just because your faves are flopping.

NewJeans are still bigger than SKZ. SKZ have a fanbase who will buy every version, but they can't launch a hit, even with the help of Charlie Puth or Ryan Reynolds.

"Stop trying to make Aespa happen globally"

Whiplash Global 200 Weeks on Chart - 25 weeks (still charting)

SKZ's 7 & 1/2 Year Career Global 200 Weeks on Chart - 28 weeks

I'd hate Aespa if I were you, too.

I'm going to be as objective as possible:

NewJeans had the biggest peak for a group since BTS and BP, though won't have the longevity due to sabotage from the same company that build them. In such a short time, they were on their way to surpass every 4th gen group and managed to surpass every 4th gen group on streaming EXCEPT for SKZ, which proves that SKZ always had a lead compared to the rest of 4th gen prior to NewJeans.

As of today, SKZ have more daily streams than both aespa, NJ and IVE combined which is literally 3 different careers, and are the only 4th gen act constantly charting on Spotify Artist Daily both globally and in the US. It's insane how you always look past this:

Spotify:

1. Stray Kids - 10.4B total streams - 9.5M daily streams (*still charting on Spotify weekly artist*)

2. NewJeans - 6.1B total streams - 3.6M daily streams

3. aespa - 3.8B total streams - 3.7M daily streams

YouTube:

1. Stray Kids - 8.2B total views - 8.8M daily views

2. aespa - 4.5B total views - 5.5 daily views

3. NewJeans 2.3B total views - 2B daily views

Audio DSP - streams across all music audio platforms combined (MelON + Youtube audio + Spotify etc.)

1. Stray Kids - 22,4B total streams

2. NewJeans - 13.6B total streams

3. aespa - 9.6B total streams

Billboard 200:

1. Stray Kids - 65 weeks charting - 6 entries - 6 #1 albums - 6 weeks at #1

2. NewJeans - 26 weeks charting - 1 entry -  1 #1 album - 1 weeks at #1

3. aespa - 12 weeks charting -  6 entries - highest peak #3

Billboard Hot 100:

1. NewJeans - 21 weeks charting - 5 entries - highest peak #48

2. Stray Kids - 3 weeks charting - 3 entries - highest peak #49

3. aespa - N/A

Billboard Artist 100:

1. Stray Kids - 97 weeks charting (*still charting*) - Peak #1 for 5 weeks

2. NewJeans - 22 weeks charting - Peak #2

3. aespa - 16 weeks charting - Peak #3

Billboard Global 200:

1. NewJeans - 247 week charting - 15 entries - 3 top 10's - highest peak #2

2. aespa - 105 weeks charting - 12 entries -  1 top 10's - highest peak #8

3. Stray Kids - 31 weeks charting - 10 entries - 2 top 10's - highest peak #10

RIAA certifications:

1. SKZ - 9 RIAA certifications - 5 Gold albums and 4 gold singles - 1 single eligible for Platinum

2. NewJeans & aespa - 0

Sales:

1. Stray Kids - 31M sales

2. aespa - 8.9M sales

3. NewJeans - 8.4M

Touring:

1. Stray Kids - on a record breaking stadium tour right now, dwarfing every 4th gen group.

2. Aespa - arena level

3. NewJeans - never toured

Google interests in the past 12 months:

1. Stray Kids - 49 %

2. NewJeans - 25 %

3. aespa - 20 %

Followers across different platforms (Spotify, Youtube, TikTok, INSTAGRAM, Twitter, Facebook)

1. Stray kids - 144.1M

2. aespa - 53.6m

3. NewJeans - 45.6M

Based on objective numbers, and looking at basic metrics, Stray Kids are clearly the biggest group here overall, they have stronger numbers across streaming, physical/digital sales, touring, chart presence (especially albums), certifications, and public interest.

NewJeans are a huge force with massive impact in a short time especially in singles performance and global streaming and had the bigger peak, but they still trail SKZ in most long-term and overall metrics. They were cut short by their evil company sadly, and were on their way to stomp on everyone. But then again, you can always make "what if's" about every situation.

aespa are successful, but comparatively behind the other two.

Both NewJeans and aespa destroys SKZ domestically though.

i agree. also as someone who is obsessed with stage production, i think kpop seriously lacks in that department, mostly because companies want to save as much money as they can which is beyond sad. and for some other reasons that i cited here in the past. i don't think they'll ever be capable of doing a show even just as good as the monster ball / born this way ball, let alone gagachella lol. also outside of stage production, none of these idols can sing anymore so...

These companies think turning every song into a rock arrangement makes it good live. It doesnt. It looks tacky.

3. Stray Kids

Aespa and NJZ are pulling streams outside of Spotify. SKZ are a Stationhead act and can't pull streams on Apple Music or other platforms. It's why ChartMasters' tool doesn't work in this scenario - they are heavily fanbase driven. SKZ have literally had two comebacks and a Japanese album since Aespa's/NJZ's last comeback and they somehow have less monthly listeners than NJZ and just barely more than Aespa. When mass streaming is filtered out (Circle is the only chart that does that), SKZ's streams are miniscule. It shows us that SKZ has a very dedicated base who will stream their music, but the public are not listening in a way that they listen to Aespa and NJZ.

You are literally pulling a "what if" scenario right now. You're assuming that NJZ and Aespa are going to stop their careers today. SKZ have enlistment in two years and NJZ isn't even halfway through their original contract while Aespa is just barely over halfway and has more album sales and streams and higher tour grosses than SKZ at the same point in their career.

The Loona downplaying, Loona was doing just excellent untill this time The reason the girls weren't paid was because it's a scam scheme/laundry money scheme, BBC parent company Is Polaris Ent where Yena comes from training with Hyunjin and Heejin, them and BBC always did great at survival shows demonstrating their good training quality, by 2020, Loona was the only group of their generation with an EMA and a Billboard 200 entry. They got Haseul on hiatus and they basically were in bankruptcy just because Lee Soo Man produced them an album they could be operative again bankruptcy they caused for failing to comply with their obligations to appear in Japan where theit  investment partner were from, BBC Obviously kept costs high so as not to make a profit and thus not pay their creditors or his artists, and that's the end of the story.
