Isn't Chaewon considered to be the rigged member of iz*one? Or am I mistaken and it was "rigged in top 10" instead or smth like that? Either way, she's now one of the two main slayers of Lesserafim so she won. The Bobisha transformation did wonders for her.

Iz*one was on track to have 7 Japanese members, and the AK48 company co-producing the show was like, hell no we got plenty of groups with Japanese girls already.  So there's 4 girls that got leveled up by not being Japanese.  But there is 1 girl who shouldn't be there either way but I don't remember who that was.

The fact that in the last rank before the finale, we got 7/12 Japanese girls to 3/12 in the final.  :bibliahh:

but the riggedy rigged was definitely needeed. Nothing's good came from pure voters, i guess.

I feel like Chaewon benefited from the voting format. She had stronger 1 pick considering how she always one of the popular one in IZ*RIG & LSRFM

Court confirmed only 2 members were rigged in and people who continued to decrease in ranking from week to week than suddenly in Top 12 in the finale were more questionable. Like Yuri, Yena and Yujin.

Considering how xenophobic were korean voters, and the finale only required to choose 1 pick, maybe it was Nako & Hitomi. And they were planning to enter Japanese market with the group and to have only 1 Japanese member (Sakura) would look so bad for the group and they had to rig in more Japanese members. I mean look at the other Korean survival show after the scandal. ZB1 has zero Japanese member, Yurina failed to join Kep1er and they had to drastically change voting format so they can have Japanese members in ILLIT. I don't think many Korean voters will vote for Japanese member as their 1 pick.

Whew it stinks in here tonight

I hate this for them, ADOR about to force them to keep doing promotions despite initially trying to shelve them at first :monkey:

The fact NJZ had an AM artist page ready and probably will never get to add anything on it :chick3:

Everytime HYBE releases one of these statements a new hole gets added to the nearest wall. :intoit2:

NJZ will win in the end. We just need to win back the narrative for them from the purple whales so that when that day comes their careers are intact.

Dumb *** where is the Japanese version?

 :khalyan2:

GD took almost an entire decade off and currently is closing in on 1B circle points in 2025, in March.

If NJZ need to wait another 4 years it would be tragic but when the day comes that they can greet us again, they will be welcomed back with open arms, regardless of if it's this year or in 2029. Whale fans lack object permanence but music listeners do not. SNSD also came back to a record career sales week despite being a girl group in their 30s.

A Japanese version is pointless without a physical Japanese release... :skull:

Whiplash is top 30 on YouTube japan weekly still, still in the daily Spotify japan top 50 and top 20 on line music... It doesn't need a Japanese language version to boost streams in Japan. It's 2025, not 2017 Japan will stream the Korean language version of a song if they like it.

Not sure if it counts as "rigged", but anyone who watched the show knows the the editing's effort to make the public empathise with that one member who couldn't sing, couldn't dance, couldn't do anything and ended up disappearing soon after the group disbanded.

not too much on Sakura, she's in Le Sserafim now so idk if "disappearing soon after the group disbanded" is really accurate

Have Japanese translations of previously released songs ever made any noise, like, at all?

Japan demands ORIGINALS, not rehashed oldies run through Google Translate

ORGANIC Smash

btw why are yall still obsessing over melon?? youtube music surpassed it a while ago in korea and other platforms like spotify are rising fast (even tho spotify charts is unreliable because of armys). AM charts is also quite similar with youtube music but there's no way to actually know the number of users

the gag is lesserafim is #5 on youtube music and it's way more used than melon so i dont understand why their stans are not bragging about that lmao. the hyperfixation over a dead platform…

what makes me sick is that hybe is getting what they want either way

force them to release -> boycott resulting in flop -> hybe happy because the pig's ego is more important than anything and he always wanted HIS groups to be more popular

force them to release -> smash -> they get the money

shelve them -> hybe happy

youtube charts are boring i fear.. melon seems pretty stable

honestly if it were up to me Spotify would be the only streaming platform that mattered:suburban:

wait spotify has over 3 million users?? last time i looked the numbers for my research it had 1m but it IS increasing fast. i literally saw a huge ad on a bus earlier and it's becoming way more mainstream. but the charts are manipulated by armys so it's genuinely impossible to use it. i hate it so much

the problem with youtube charts is that it only updates once a week… but it's pretty accurate to what's actually popular. apple music charts too is quite accurate and lesserafim is #3 on there

melon is full of bots if we're honest and they give subs for like 50 cents :rip: so it's so easy to manipulate it now ig

GOOD MORNING

edit: oop I didn't see it was already posted... well here's the new one :clap3:

In produce 101 season 1:

Kim Suhyun and Seo Hyelin were robbed out in the first round for trainees from bigger companies and with storyline.

Kim Suhyun was allegedly in the top 15 in the voting.

Evil editing and bad rumors were used in Season 1.

But they saw it was not working so in Season 2:

Seong Hyun-woo was eliminated in the first round in favor of Lee You-Jin (actor) the Nepo Baby son of the actor Lee Hyojung and nephew of the actor Lee Ki Young.

Kang Dong Ho Was eliminated in Favor of a Wanna One member let just say it's the members who had the same CEO than Fifty Fifty... :matty:

Seasons 3:

Lee Kaeun and Han Chowon were supposed to debut in Iz*One.

Allegedly the two rigged in were Chaewon and Jo Yuri. It's alleged not confirmed. An Yujin and Nako were also allegedly rigged in but it was debunked but their final ranking is not 5 and 6 since it was Kaeun and Chowon places.

Season 4:

Girl it's too much, Timothée Anzardi, Kim Kookheon, Lee Jinwoo, Koo Jungmo, Lee Jinhyuk, Keum Donghyun.

And the whole show they switched the ranking of members to create dramas and storyline.

I don't think they can force the girls to do anything right now, the injuction is a prevention form and states that the girls cannot do anything independently, without ADOR, not that they have to follow ADOR's requests. this needs to be mutual, that's the first thing and let's say it will be settled in the main case. once it will be closed (no matter the result) injuction won't be valid anymore, since main ruling will have more power

the girls are not done! :flower:

and NJZ artist page might still be used later in the year if the contract termination will be confirmed! since the IP fight will be another thing and might take even longer
